They are a very playable set of rules; fun and fast play, but with sufficient granularity to make them work for this period.
John E –
These rules are very specific to the WOTR conflict and not designed to be a generic set you can apply to a wide range of historical periods. And they are all the better for that focus in my view.
By all means use other figures as proxies when trying them out but don’t expect them to be a generic ancients or medieval set of rules.

Really enjoyed the rules – easy to get to grips with the mechanics but lots of decisions to make and I really got the ‘period feel’

Having used several rule sets, I would say, are these (finally) the rules I am looking for.
David M –
Your rules strike me as a labour of love and have inspired me to get back to collecting and painting after a long gap.

Looks like you guys have hit a home run on these rules. The Facebook page and the game run through I have seen have me salivating.
Norm Smith –
I have posted a long blog post based around my first contact with the rules. I am very impressed by the rules and of the enthusiasm of the authors, who I met at the Phalanx Wargames Show (St. Helens), where they were doing a demo of their game.
I have a 28mm collection and have tried a few rules, but never settled. I bought these hoping for my go to set :-)
